Turning Machine
A turning machine, sometimes referred to as a lathe, uses a cutting tool to shear material from the exterior diameter of a workpiece as it rotates. Turning is a process which can be applied to various materials.
Milling Machine
A milling machine removes metal using a rotating cutting tool as a clamped workpiece is fed into the machine. Milling machines are commonly used to manufacture custom parts to precise tolerances and can be used for machining, square drilling and tapping.
Slotting Machine
A slotting machine works by inserting a specialised cutting tool into a workpiece, primarily moving back and forth vertically. This machine is predominantly used to cut planes and form surfaces and keyways.
Surface Grinding Machine
A grinding machine, or grinder, uses an abrasive wheel to scrape or grind away at the surface of a workpiece in order to produce a high-quality surface and precise tolerances.
Hydraulic 100-Ton Press
A hydraulic press is used to press bushes, parts or bearings into or onto shaft housing. The hydraulic press is also utilised in parts maintenance when hand tools are insufficient to remove existing parts that need to be replaced or to refit the replacement parts.
